Christians Prayers for Gift Ideas Answered With Inspirational Metal Art
One pleasant problem with having a middle-class income in North American society is what to buy for friends and relatives at Christmas. The reason it has become a headache is simply because people seem to have everything already in the way of electronics, clothes, devices, and every other item one can think of. An impressive gift should be beautiful, unique and around two or three hundred dollars. A new religious item coming on the market is a gift from heaven for it fits the bill perfectly.

Christian Angels and a Heaven Full of Gods
The Biblical folklore concerning angelic beings describes a complex and separate form of living entities with structured powers, purpose, and a defined hierarchy. This article discusses the concepts that may have created a need for other heavenly creatures to be written into the mythology of Christianity. The notion that the Abrahamic religions, such as Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are monotheistic religions is contradicted by the belief in so many Gods and holy beings.

Sin
Sin. It's defined in the original translations of the Bible meaning "to miss the mark." The mark, in this case, is the standard of perfection established by God and evidenced by Jesus. Noah Webster defined sin as the following: The voluntary departure of a moral agent from a known rule of rectitude or duty, prescribed by God; any voluntary transgression of the divine law, or violation of a divine command; a wicked act; iniquity.

The Scope of God's Sovereignty
The detail of God's ability to rule is revealed. Sometimes God recommends. "Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more. For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication." 1 Thessalonians 4:1-3

Jesus is Horus?
Comedian Bill Maher and other critics claim that there are some striking parallels between the Jesus and Horus stories. Let's take at look at the facts first hand. For those who are unfamiliar with the Horus story, he's a character in Egyptian mythology, the son of the gods Isis and Osiris. There actually appear to be multiple deities named 'Horus,' but the one who is the son of Isis and Osiris is the one the critics claim influenced the Jesus story. All the evidence from both sides is screened.

The Right Hand Of God
Numerous passages in the New Testament tell us Jesus sits on the right hand of God. Peter used this expression in Acts 2:34, quoting Psalm 110:1. According to Acts 7:55, Stephen looked up into heaven while being stoned to death and "saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God." What does this phrase mean?

Was Christ Born on Christmas?
Was Jesus born on December 25th? No. The Roman Catholic Church adopted this date to take away from the worship of the pagan myth Saturn on this date (among other false gods that were supposedly born or celebrated on this date). It wasn't until A.D. 440 that they officially proclaimed December 25th as the birth date of Christ. But could Christ have been conceived on that date? Yes. Learn the rest of the story behind the real time and season of Christ's birth.

Is Eternal Security Biblical?
The Largest Protestant church in America teaches it to all their new converts. They are guilty geception. First, by telling them they are saved the moment they believe on the Lord Jesus. Secondly, by telling them that since they are saved, they can never be lost. Remember that the kisses of the enemy are deceitful, but as many as God loves He rebukes and instructs through His word. It's better to live the truth than to die deceived. Why is once always saved so popular? People enjoy worldliness.

Grace
In an editorial one minister declared, "There is nothing that can be added to bring salvation to a soul. "Grace," he wrote, "wrought salvation with no strings attached." Another minister stated. "Grace plus nothing equal salvation." Is this biblical? Have these ministers gone farther than the Scriptures go? Must not the recipient of salvation take some corresponding action in response to grace? If there is nothing that one can do, what about the scriptural passages that call for action?

Noah's Ark (Universal Story)
Every ancient culture had a flood story. Most of them report the same facts. Many told of a flood that was universal, had animals aboard and was because of man's wickedness. The early church fathers also spoke of the meaning of the flood. We will explore their works and words.

Drinking and Driving Penalties
The law in Texas places a fine of about $5,000.00 dollars and 90 days in jail for people caught drinking and driving. In many countries though, the penalty for this offense is much greater. The penalty for first time offenders of drinking and driving in El Salvador is death by firing squad. No repeat offenders! Twice in Bulgaria is too much, the second time you commit this act and you will be executed. Russia bans first time offenders from driving for one year. Do it again and it's for life.

The Early Witnesses
The Shepherd of Hermas (160 AD) is not inspired scripture, however it reflects many of the original beliefs of the apostles. Here are some samples from the letter that was widely popular in the second century Catholic Church, and nearly adopted as part of the inspired word of God by them. The document reveals that whoever wrote this document still held to many of the beliefs of the apsotles. We will search this writing and others to show forth their doctrines.

Come Out
Presently there are three branches of the Catholic Church that grew out of the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD, they are the Eastern Orthodox Greek Catholic Church, the Roman Catholic Church, and Protestant Catholic Churches. The one identifying doctrine that makes all of these Catholics, is the mystery of the trinity doctrine and trinity baptism. These cults have taken billions of people into spiritual captivity. God's advice, "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord.

Daniel lived his whole life as a faithful servant of the LORD, even though he was also trapped in very ungodly environments throughout all those years. Even in the midst of captivity, Daniel and his fellow Hebrew captives maintained an amazingly excellent spirit. The Final Command
Before Jesus left this world after His resurrection He walked the world one more time for the duration of 40 days and performed many wonders in order to prove that He truly had risen from the dead. Before His departure, Jesus told His disciples to preach the Gospel to every creature and to baptize those who believed it into His name. Those believers would then continue to following the doctrine or teachings of the apsotle's. This is was the last command of our Lord and Saviour.

Sprinkling Replaced Immersion
It is widely known that baptism originally involved the total immersion of the body in water. In fact, the Greek term “baptizo” means “to immerse.” Baptism signified the burial, and the resurrection of Christ. For the person being baptized the descent into the water signified the death and burial of the old life, while the ascent from the water signified the resurrection to the new life in Christ Jesus (Romans 6:3-8, Galatians 3:26-28).
