A view on second hand cars
CONSUMER Direct has issued advice about second hand car purchases - the subject it receives the most calls and complaints about.Kate Cook, Consumer Direct South West Contact Manager said: “For most people buying a car is a big financial commitment. It makes sense to take your time and make sure you choose the right used car. The law recognises that a second hand car won’t be perfect but it must be fit to be used on the road and be reasonably reliable and safe.”

A view on Used Bikes for sale
It is always better if you can manage to buy a good quality used bike for a cheap price. Cheap used bikes do exist, where the 'cheap' aspect only relates to the price. A 400cc used bike can cost upwards of $8000 for new models. But if your budget doesn't allow paying a high price, then finding a good used bike for sale will be your best bet.

A view on Bikes for sale
A Pulsar 150 DTSi 2006 model had some neatly maintained looks and had a fancy number 8888. I test drove the model but found that the bike was giving a knocking while on ride. I also observed that the bike was dragged to left when driving. I believed that these problems would hardly be there once I get it serviced. The 2006 bike was priced at Rs. 36,000 and open for negotiations.

One such redevelopment within a couple of years, is the new launch of Platina 125 cc 5 speed gear box during March, 2010.

Hero Honda Splendor + Test Drive and Review
The new Splendor + gives a very simple appearance, but mildly attractive than its predecessors. The front boxy headlamp has a curvy faring around it and the clear lens turn winkers stick out aptly. The dual instrument cluster has the standard speedometer and the fuel gauge with Neurtal and High beam incorporated into it. The all white background for both the dials, makes more visibility all the time. The turn indicators stick to the sides of the Ignition key slot.

TVS Scooty Streak Test Drive
When other manufacturers are making a mountain out of a mole hill, TVS has launched a new scooty variant called scooty streak without much hype and fanfare. Many of you may not know scooty streak was launched. Surprisingly, i have not come across any advertisement as well. Tough times needs frugal measures! Recession might be the cause for this low profile launch. However TVS has roped in tennis sensation Sania Mirza for the new streak.
