This new car from Hyundai already has gain a number of fans and people are just counting the days when Skoda Rapid will be launched. Skoda Rapid will be launched in three variants which are Skoda Rapid active, Skoda Rapid ambition and Skoda Rapid elegance. However there are two more variants in which Skoda Rapid will be launched. These two variants are Skoda Rapid ambition automatic and Skoda Rapid elegance automatic. It is expected that will be around Rs.6.5 lakhs for base model. Skoda Rapid is expected in five shades which are flash red, brilliant silver, deep black, candy white and cappuccino beige.</p> <p>Skoda Rapid India will be entered in C+ sedan car segment in Indian market. Skoda Rapid comes with features like power steering, power windows, remote central locking, manual air conditioner, steer adjustment, designer wheel covers, single DN music system, rear defogger and height adjustable driver’s seat. The safety features with which the car is offered are folding rear seats, keyless entry, push button start, ABS, EBD and airbags. Skoda Rapid is also decent in term of mileage for an entry level sedan which the company has achieved through use of some latest technology in engine of Skoda Rapid. Skoda Rapid is expected to be offered n both petrol and diesel options, the engines of both petrol and diesel engine are of 1598cc, 4 cylinder, 8 valve engine and the petrol engine generates a maximum power of 105bhp and a peak torque of 153NM on the other hand the diesel engine is able to generate maximum power of 105bhp and 250 NM toque. Skoda Rapid is expected to come with 5 speed manual transmission gearbox.</p> <p>Skoda Rapid with its affordable price in both petrol and diesel variants is expected to give a fierce competition to other C segment cars like Ford Fiesta, Honda City, Volkswagon Vento, Fiat Linea, Nissan sunny and Hyundai verna. The base model of Skoda Rapid is expected to come with some many attractive features like engine immobilizer for extra safety of car, 14inch steel wheels, front and rear power windows, tilt and telescopic power steering, rear widescreen defogger and front centre armrest for extra comfort.
