The face lifted Fabia was revealed by Skoda at the Geneva Motor Show held in March this year. The car that was phased out from the 13 BS4 cities will now be launched with upgraded engines to meet the emission norms.</p> <p>According to the sources, the new facelifted Skoda Fabia will now be available with a 1.2-litre, 75PS petrol engine and a 1.2-litre, 75PS TDI Common-Rail diesel engine that currently powers the Volkswagen Polo. Also expected is a more powerful 1.6-litre diesel variant of the car. Earlier, the Fabia had a 1.4 PD TDI engine which produced around 68 bhp. Now with the Polo engine under the hood, the engine will produce 74 bhp.</p> <p>Skoda with a new facelift will be priced around the same price range as that of the present version. It is expected that the exteriors of the car will get the new family look as there will be a wide front grille and new headlamps along with new foglamps.
