Buying a new car can be an expensive proposition. ‘New car’ means different things to different people. Some people actually mean a brand new car and others mean a vehicle different than the one they currently drive; and they are open to buying a used or Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. Either way, purchasing a vehicle can require a substantial outlay of money. It is possible to save money when buying a car and there are dealers serving the Aurora, Denver and Park Meadows, CO area that offer vehicle specials. Whether one wants to purchase a new Buick or GMC or other brand of car or truck, it pays to take some time to investigate dealer rebates and incentives.

Every car dealer offers different incentives and rebates but some of the most common offers include cash back. For example if one decides to buy a new GMC Acadia, then the dealer may offer a cash back deal, like $1,000.00 cash back. Not only are cash back incentives offered on new cars, they are also offered on used cars. So while a used car cash back discount may be less than what can be obtained for a new car, the used car’s price is usually lower, so the savings could still be greater in the end.

Another incentive is a military discount. Some dealers provide discounts to current or retired military personnel. Some of these rebates start at $500 and go up from there. Sometimes one can find dealers willing to apply a $1,000.00 or larger discount for military personnel. Car buyers can ask each of the dealers they visit if they offer military discounts, and these incentives can save people even more money off the purchase price of a car.

Student discounts are also popular dealer incentives. College grads can qualify for discounts; sometimes up to $500.00 off the cost of a car. Each dealer is different, but there may be scenarios where people are retired military and are also students. Some dealers may allow application of both the military and the student discount. Combining these discounts with special used car prices can allow people to buy a quality automobile at an attractive price.

There are many more discounts and incentives provided by car dealerships. Some also offer discounts for vehicles to be converted for use by disabled drivers. Some of these discounts can reduce the cost of a vehicle by hundreds or thousands of dollars. The cost of converting a vehicle to install a ramp and other equipment can be prohibitive. Usually any conversion discount a disabled driver can find and combine with other discounts can often influence the purchase of a vehicle.

Car dealers want to help people afford the purchase of a vehicle; it’s good for business. Since dealers want to move their inventory, car buyers should combine their negotiating skills with available rebates and incentives to save money on a new or used car. Car buyers should not forget to look into Certified Pre-Owned vehicles at dealerships. These cars are often as good as new and are available at attractive prices, and include warranties.
