Recently the company officially announces its most awaited small hatchback named as Renault Pulse in India. Earlier Renault announces its planning to launch new products for Indian car buyers. In step forward, company has launched its Renault Fluence in sedan segment and Renault Koleos in the premium SUV segment. Both the cars doing wonders for the company in India. Renault Pulse is the third offering from the company in India in the small hatchback segment. In order to improve its market value, the French auto maker has announces its plans of launching 3 another cars for the Indian consumers. The first amongs the three are Renault Pulse to attract large volume of crowd in India. The company unmasked Renault Pulse in a grand event at Formula 1 racing held in Noida. The car was unveiled by Carlos Tavares, COO Of Renault and Marc NASSIF, managing director of Renault India with two Formula 1 drivers. Renault Pulse will go on sale in India by the end of 2012. is yet to be announced.</p> <p>Renault Pulse review suggest that the car will feature the same Micra engine and will be available in both petrol and diesel versions. The petrol version car is powered by a 1.2 litre three cylinder engine which is capable of producing a maximum power of 75 BHP. Whereas the diesel version car will be powered by 1.5 litre K9K diesel engine which churns out a maximum output power of 64 BHP. The high performance engine is quite able in delivering a decent fuel efficiency.</p> <p>Renault Pulse pictures shows that the exterior of the car comes in with the striking similarity with Nissan Micra. The car is based on the V platform which is also used in Nissan cars like Nissan Micra. It is also speculated that the car would adorn some of the features of Nissan Micra. In order to drop down the price of Renault Pulse, the French biggies has plans to manufacture K9K engine in India at the Alliance production plant located in Oragadam, near Chennai. The low production cost of engine and locally development of car will definitely benefits the company.</p> <p>It is also speculated that the small hatchback will be available in seven different shades. Renault Pulse is the first Indian car who got five star by the EuroNCAP rating. This shows that the car will be bundled with various safety features like ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with EBD to avoid skidding, 2 airbags, fog lamps rear seat belts and ISOFIX child seat fixing points.
