The Japanese auto Subsidiary, Nissan India has launched Nissan Micra in the year 2010. The base variant Micra XE comes loaded with some standard features that includes roof antenna, drive computer, manual AC, electric power with tilt adjustment steering, engine immobilizer and driver airbag. While the mid variants of the car that are Micra XE Plus and XL adorns a tachometer, integrated audio system with 4 speakers aux-in port, front and rear power windows with driver Anti-Pinch function, central door lock and remote keyless entry along with all standard features of base variant. The top end model of the car, Nissan Micra XV comes included some advanced ingredients which are : an intelligent key with push button ignition, front passenger airbag, ABS with EBD and BA, front fog lamps and security alarm.</p> <p>Nissan Micra Diesel XV and Nissan Micra Diesel XV Premium are the two diesel variants of the small hatchback and tagged at Rs. 5.69 lakh and Rs. 6.14 lakh respectively. The diesel version includes all the standard features of the car but it does not sports security alarm, front passenger airbag, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), EBD and BA (Brake Assist).</p> <p>The petrol version of the car is powered by an 1.2 Litre DOHC, 3 cylinder engine that produces a maximum power of 76 PS at 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 104 Nm at 4000 rpm. The engine of the car is mated with a 5 speed manual transmission and car offers a decent mileage of 14 Kmpl in city and 18.06 on highways. The diesel variants of the car comes loaded with an 1.5 litre SOHC, 4 cylinder, common rail engine which is capable of producing a maximum power of 64 PS at 4000 rpm and churns out a torque of 160 Nm at 2000 rpm.
