God supplies our needs as we seek Him first. However, there are times when everything is going against us. It always seems darkest before the dawn. When the battle is the appears lost is when God steps in to grant us the victory in His name. Do not quit. When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, When the road you’re trudging seems all up hill, When the funds are low and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, Rest if you must; but don't you quit.

Paul wrote, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me." This means if something makes me a better person and strenthens my faith, then I can do it if it's God's will. This saying goes with a promise. "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Phillipians 4:19) Our needs will be given to us by God. He will supply all our needs when we seek Him first. "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33)
However, there are times when everything is going against us. It always seems darkest before the dawn. Often this is just when victory is coming into place. When the battle is the appears lost is when God steps in to grant us the victory in His name. Do not quit.
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must; but don’t you quit.
Life is strange with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don’t give up, though the pace seems slow;
You might succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor’s cup.
And he learned too late, when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out;
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt;
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you hardest hit;
It’s when things seem worst that you mustn’t quit.
When we are afflicted or overcome by evil sometimes we must pray in the Lord's name (Jesus) for help from above. The words below are the model prayer, you can repeat them but it's better to personalise it to your style or way.
"After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen" (Matthew 6:9-13)
When praying, we must forgive others in order to receive our own forgiveness from God.
