Company will be making their presence felt at the 2012 Indian Auto Expo waith a range of cars on display. As per recent reports, company will showcase the Indian bound Ssangyong Rexton SUV and the Korando crossover. Additionally it is also speculated that company might bring Mahindra Mini Xylo at the Auto show. If rumors to believe that domestic auto giant is planning big and four hot products from company stable will be on showcase at the 2012 Auto Expo and the most amazing part of the entire thing is that company will be showcasing an electric version of the Verito sedan.</p> <p>Another thing is that the Mahindra Reva NXR which is another one of the most awaited product in the Indian market. Mahindra had earlier overtake Reva Electric and they seem to be aggressive with their strategy on the prospects of electric car sales growing in the Indian automobile market. Thus we will see the latest entrant, the Mahindra Verito Electric sedan. The electric car on display may not exactly be a production ready version but only a concept.</p> <p>The Rexton is an off rader sports utility vehicle that comes loaded with a 2.7-litre direct-injected diesel engine which churns out maximum power output of 184 PS and peak torque of 402 Nm. It is speculated that the seven seater biggie will sizzle Indian roads by the third quarter of 2012. The SUV will be loaded with safety ingredients like Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Enhanced Parking Brake Technology, Forward Collision Warning and Avoidance System, ABS with EBD, ESP and SRS airbags as standard equipment. Company also provide an option to its customers between a five-speed manual gearbox and an automatic gearbox. The exact pricing details of the car is yet to be announced by the company but it is likely to be tagged around Rs. 17 lakh.</p> <p>Another offering Korando is Ssangyong's which is a compact crossover with contemporary styling which is especially targeted the urban SUV buyers in the country. The crossover is likely to house a 2-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine generating around 175PS of power and 360Nm of torque. Car will be available in both automatic and manual transmission variants. It is also speculated that crossover will be available in four-wheel and two-wheel drive systems and comes loaded with ABD with EBD, ESP and airbags as standard.
