<h1>Christian Persecution Increases</h1><strong> Author: <a href='http://www.articleseen.com/profile_Steve-0.aspx'>Steve-0</a></strong><br /><p>Jesus said in the last days that, "The love of many shall grow cold..." The Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life study. Both government restrictions and social hostility towards religions are on the rise world-wide today according to this recent study. And Christianity above all other religions is especially seen as it's target. This newly released study and survey reveals about a third of the world lives in areas where religion is suppressed aggressively. It documented that the worst offenders of it are as what follows in this order: China, Nigeria, Russia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the United Kingdom (surprisingly). In Egypt and France, the restrictions and oppressions were a direct result of governmental involvement. The study concluded that in many of the Muslims countries, the targets of oppression are Christians who are restricted by the the governments and ostracised by it's citizens. The coldness of people's hearts is evidenced by the actions taken by their governments. Nobody is really taking a stand against this great flood of persecution. Among the countries with less hostility towards religion and specifically Christianity, is the United States of America. However, in many areas of life there are people who are now speaking against Christianity to accommodate others. The media, entertainers and teachers in the U.S. are now attacking it with greater fervor than ever before, even as the economic and social situations grow from bad to worse worldwide, the ever increasing hatred towards Christ and Christians abounds. These attacks by some do not help a country as they suppose, but instead help to tear it down. The Christians in any country help to prevent it's decay. Whenever there are are less of them, decay or destruction of a country proceeds at a greater rate. This decay process is increasing at a greater rate both here in American and world-wide. Sin is everywhere. A few people are attempting to do the right things, but many more are doing whatever is right in their own eyes. Many are deeply effected by the bad results of sin. Christ said that Christians are the salt of the earth. Salt was once used as an ancient preserver of food. In like manner, Christians preserve the world wherever they may be. However, if there's a lack of Christian principles or people, then the increase of evil will eventually arise. The wrath of God is always against ungodly acts, but His eyes behold the righteous ones. "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold."
