CPC Training and ADR Training are being considered crucial from the point of view of success in driving commercial vehicles and at the same time ensuring road safety.

There are various requirements from a person to get CPC training; one of them is that the candidate should be an adult i.e. 18 years of age. Additionally, there are several categories, to be precise three which are as follows: the primary category is Category C1. In Category C1 a candidate already owns a license and drives a vehicle that weighs between 3,500 kilograms to 7.5 tones. Thus, a person who is in Category C1 drivers vehicles such as tractor trailer but according to the existing law all the candidates who got license before 1997 can automatically get a C1 license and do not need to apply again for the same.
The entire licensing regime is meant to give licenses only to those who really deserve it and conform to the requirements and experience as well as technical skills. Nevertheless, certain CPC training institutes tend to impart practical classes that help candidates clear the exam and gain the license that is ultimately required from them by any commercial transport or cargo company. CPC training can be considered highly beneficial for those who wish to make a career in driving heavy vehicles which is not only attractive in terms of salaries but also in working conditions. Nevertheless, driving such vehicles requires technical experience i.e. driving and license.
ADR training on the other hand helps candidates get license to drive vehicles that are used to carry Hazardous Materials in Packages in Road Tankers or Tank Containers. Apart from the kind of products that are being carried in vehicles, ADR training also considered the weight wherein any vehicle with over 3500 KG of weight needs an ADR trained driver. There are various modules in ADR training that inter alia include The Core Module, Tanks &/or Packages Module i.e. the mode of transport the candidate will drive, and lastly what is the Class or classes of the good the candidate will carry. Thus, it is quite crucial to know about the category of the goods and the mode of transport before applying for ADR training.
It is quite pertinent that a person interested in commercial vehicle driving must get a license required by the UK government that recommends for HGV Training and CPC training so that road security is ensured. The entire effort from the government is to avoid deadly consequence of ill-trained drivers.
