The bike comes with innovative graphics and all black colored body with colored fibers from the bottom. However, the fuel tank of SZ-X doesn’t look huge but still have greater capacity to hold. The twin pod design front console of the bike consists of a speedometer with white background calibrated till an optimistic 140kmph, an odometer, a green Neutral ‘N’ indicator, a huge fuel gauge just near to tachometer.
The rest console features various resourceful functions like side blinker lights, upper beam, switchgear with basic light button, upper/dipper button, choke lever, side blinkers, horn near the left hand side and a starter crank at the right side. SZ-X looks smaller than the other bikes from the 150cc segment. SZ-X is available in two variants: Yamaha SZ-X 150 and the premium variant Yamaha SZ-X, which is offered in Red/Black and Red/Black/Grey Metallic, colors respectively. The basic difference between these two variants is SZ-X has simple electric start and SZ-X 150 comes with only kick starter.
The bike has been powered by the 153cc engine that produces the peak power of 12.1ps at 7500rpm and maximum torque of 1.2Nm. Although, the engine is lacking with aggregation, which we expect from anyother 150cc bike. The pick-up, mileage (50kmpl) and pulling capacity of the bike is quite impressive. The class comfort is added by the cushioned seat that provides good support to thighs with perfect riding position.
