In our fast paced lifestyle, we can hardly wait for anything. Everything around our world seems to be in a hurry. The modern technology has given us the opportunity to move ahead in quicker ways. With the advent of internet, we can communicate with anyone who is physically at any part of the world within seconds. Email has given us the opportunity to initiate any conversation and communicate via the internet. But when you need to send or receive bulk mails, you have to depend on the SMTP servers.
SMTP is the short form of Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. It is usually used to transmit electronic mail across Internet Protocol (IP) networks. When someone sends an email from his PC, it usually uses the SMTP service to get delivered to its destination. In other mail transfer protocols, the sent mail when get delivered to the destination, the sender does not receive any delivery mail. But in case of SMTP, the sender gets an instant email for the delivery of his sent mail. This feature is very useful for your important emails.
When someone uses email for the marketing purpose, he needs to send bulk mails to all his clients. Every time he sends such bulk mails, it would be a hard task to track all these mails. But if he uses the SMTP servers, all the tracking of mails can be done through the mail server. It also assures that each of these bulk mails get delivered properly. This way, it induces the sense of security in the user in terms of the delivery of these emails.
As you are sending and receiving lots of emails, it will be definitely hard to filter some important mails. But if you use the SMTP service, it will guide those important mails to some folder of your choice. If you are not using the same domain name of the sender, the SMTP servers usually finds the proper domain of your email address and sends a feed to verification of the location. When the response from the recipient comes valid, it delivers the email to the destined folder and generates a delivery message to the sender. In this process, the server allows the sent mail to bypass all the ISP restrictions and receive mails from the recipients in the specified network.
Therefore for the better communication through the email system, you have to depend on the SMTP service to deliver and receive your mails in proper manner.
