Thanks to Kindle, eBook readers have increased drastically. Ebooks have much flexibility when used with laptops or any type of PDA and held hand readers. What attracts me the most is the convenience at hand. No standing in long lines at the book store, paying ridicules prices for books you might only read once and not to mention when book stores are out of stock sometimes orders can take up to five weeks before delivery unless you pay the express fee which varies in cost. Shelf space on your PDA gives a better advantage than shelf space at home. Some people enjoy looking at their personal library they have built over the years, however if your job is very demanding which cause you to move or do a lot of traveling eBooks would be very beneficial. After spending twenty years in the military and deploying or relocating every three or four years there was nothing more frustrating than having to pack and unpack a large measure of books. It can also become frustrating for those of you who commute to and from work and the pages in your book enjoyed your food or beverage more than you. One of my biggest mistakes during my travels were any beverage or snack I purchased would end up on the pages of my book. While attending graduate school I was always searching for good deals on school books. This is when I discovered one of the great advantages of eBooks. It was cheaper in cost, easier to navigate through for instance; I did not have to read through the entire book to find what I was looking for. All I had to do was type the topic in the search box and my answer would appear in seconds. Ebooks offer other great functions however, this was one of my favorites. Because of the high usage of the internet eBooks have become more marketable. The cons would be the labor can be very time-consuming. When creating eBooks most of your money will go towards the software needed to create or add special features to your eBook along with marketing an advertisement. Your marketing and advertising budget is solely up to you. Another point I must emphasize is editing. Poor editing cause a decrease in sales and cause eBook critics to add more fuel to the fire. However, despite how critics feel eBooks are on the rising and creating its own spot for the future.
