Brockway Carpets focus is on developing methods of production that create less waste and are more sustainable. One of the ways Brockway Carpets do this this is through their Envirobac system. The system replaces the conventional latex carpet backing with polymer granules, which ensures the whole manufacturing process is effluent free and doesn’t emit any harmful emissions into the atmosphere thereby having a much lesser impact on the environment. Brockway Carpets, like Cormar and other British manufacturers, are also supporters of Carpet Recycling UK, where carpet waste is recycled rather than dumping it in landfill sites. Brockway Carpets together with Carpet Recycling UK recycle the waste products from carpet manufacture by using the edges from carpet rolls and using them in mattress manufacture, and they also work with Carpet Recycling UK to turn the carpet dust created by their shearer into agricultural fertiliser. Brockway Carpets believe that reducing waste isn't only good for their business; but it's better for future generations, too.
Another reason to choose Brockway Carpets is their stunning new collection of high quality, designer-inspired carpets that has recently been launched by the company. The Designer Collection from Brockway Carpets offers nine fantastic new ranges of carpets inspired by nature, culture, fashion and architecture. An exclusive collection of contemporary styles together with traditional British craftsmanship results in a selection of carpets that are up to date and look fabulous. Amongst the ranges is the ‘Carnaby’ range. This range is a 100% wool loop pile carpet that takes its inspiration from 1960’s swinging London featuring red and blue colours called the ‘Union Stripe’. Keeping with the British theme, Brockway Carpets have a ‘Portobello’ range which features eight tailored striped carpets inspired from the antique markets of London. The ‘Aurelia’ range features six neutral coloured carpets that are inspired from the fields and pathways of rural Britain, then in complete contrast Brockway Carpets have the ‘Vogue’ range which compromise of four colours, each in an elegant stripe and five co-ordinating plains that when put together have a real air of sophisticated interior design. The ‘Saville Row’ range is inspired by classic British tailoring, whereas the ‘Concerto’ range has a random stippling of darker contrasting colours in the base neutral which gives a pattern that looks stunning in a large area. There are also three other ranges, the ‘Cadogan’, which is designed to uplift, inspire and brighten a room. The ‘Gelato’ range, which is based on creamy ice cream colours with names such as ‘popsicle’, ‘sorbet’, ‘pistachio’, ‘mocha’, ‘caramel’ and ‘vanilla fudge’ and is simply gorgeous and the ‘Regatta’ range which is a base of ecru with bold, confident stripes in a range of different colours such as ‘Henley Blue’, Oxford Damson’ and ‘Charleston Red’ to name but a few and when these are put into a room the result is simply stunning. Why not look at them yourself and see what you think? Brockway Carpets surely has a range to suit everyones taste, and the design of these ranges is second to none.
