Muslims from various regions of the world visit Mecca every year to pay their religious duty towards their God. In simple words, Hajj is an exhibition of the unity of the Muslim people and their tribute to Allah.

The hajj is associated with Prophet Mohammad in the 7th century.
During the peak time of Hajj to Mecca, a large number of tour operators launch several offers and packages for Muslim people to make an easy and comfy journey to Mecca. Specific packages are offered to Muslim community by airlines and hotels. During the hajj to Mecca, pilgrims have to enter a sacred state called Ihram and perform rituals like cleansing and wearing the defined dress which is a garment consisting of two sheets of white unhemmed cloth for men pilgrims and women pilgrims typically required to maintain their hijab.
The number of tourists going to Mecca has been increasing year on year on a continuous basis. In order to manage this big crowd, local government has made various arrangements to make the journey successful and comfortable. . Stone throwing rituals have been modified, slaughtering by appointing others etc. Umrah which can be done throughout the year is a lesser pilgrimage and a pilgrim is still obligated to perform the hajj in some stage of his life.
