Smoking cigarette is about the most addicting, yet shameful thing we do today. We all know how harmful smoking can be, what can we do to stop it?

Three ways to Stop Smoking
Let’s be honest. You’re addicted. Yes, I know you’ve been telling everyone that you can quit anytime you want, but let’s be honest here. Quitting smoking may be one of the hardest things you do in your life
Ok, now that we have that straight, let’s look at some of the options you have available.
1. Going cold turkey: If you have the will power and the determination this option may suit you. But don’t fool yourself; this one has the highest failure rate. I’ve seen people walking down the street pulling an oxygen tank, and they have to pull the mask away to take a puff.
2. Using Patches or Nicotine Items: You can purchase patches, lozenges and other symptom relief products from many pharmacies, super markets, online stores and other organizations. If you do this, remember to keep yourself away from the smoking environment until you can control your urge.
3. Hypnosis: By using hypnotherapy techniques and positive affirmation it can help you quit smoking for good, this method is the ideal way to attack the emotional and psychological addiction associated with smoking.
Ok, what if you try and try, and you can’t quit? What then.
Take a deep breath, and let’s look at what you’re trying to do. Why are you really trying to quit smoking?
Your health, right?
Let’s focus on the main issue. We know smoking is not healthy. But let’s be specific. “What’s unhealthy about smoking?”
Everything you say. Hold on there a minute. When you light that cigarette, and you inhale, you’re inhaling the smoke. Read that again…You’re inhaling the smoke, the fumes, the residue. What’s in the smoke that you are pulling in your lungs? Cigarette smoke contains over 4,000 chemicals, including 43 known cancer-causing (carcinogenic) compounds and 400 other toxins. These include nicotine, tar, and carbon monoxide, as well as formaldehyde, ammonia, hydrogen cyanide, arsenic, and DDT. No wonder cigarettes are killing so many people!
Your issue is this, you know you don’t want all of this poison in your system but your body is craving something. It’s the Nicotine is the addictive part, that’s what you’re fighting against.
Let me say it a different way. Smokers are not addicted to cigarettes as much as they are to the nicotine. So if that’s the case, what if we can focus only on the nicotine, not the other stuff you’re pulling in your lungs.
Nicotine gum doesn’t work for you? Ok, have you tried one of the electric cigarettes? A lot of people have had success with these devices, because they not only satisfy the Nicotine craving, but it addresses the psychological issue of you actually holding a cigarette and here’s the key part, you are “smoking” without pulling the smoke in your lungs. Got it?
You’ll have the taste and feel just like a regular cigarette but they are smoke and tar free. You can adjust the nicotine in them by selecting the nicotine level from a high of 16mg to zero.. The "smoking" sensation you'll experience is just like that of a real cigarette, but now YOU control what you’re putting in your lungs. The electronic cigarette I examined had the benefit of there being no Tar and carbon monoxide, free Fresh atomizer in every cartridge, was easy to use and maintain. You can even smoke in no smoking zones! Not a bad deal. Also no bad odor on clothes or breath, and they offered a variety of flavors.
I’ll expand more on this point, but if you want more information on a company, that does offer one of the electronic cigarettes, just go to their website, get the information you need, and TAKE ACTION. Focus on the real issue. You’re addicted, ok? But not to cigarettes. Focus on the main issue, and get rid of that pack of cancer sticks. Check the website, and get the information you need for the right decision.
