Bone injuries are very common and are basically the injuries of bone tissues which have the ability to support the body. Normally we know the bone injuries simply as bone fractures which can occur in several situations like a car accident, an assault, fall from a height or any pre existing bone disease like osteoporosis, rickets etc. The symptoms of bone injuries can be found according to the affected area and the type of bone fractures as well as their stiffness. However every bone fracture may result in misbalancing of bone tissues and muscles and gradually overcomes the strength of the bone.
Depending upon the nature of the injuries we can find a number of bone injuries mentioned here that affects the body and hampers the bone tissues.
Bone Fractures
Break in the bone is called fracture which is the most common injury which almost every people get in their life time. The possibility of bone fractures is noticed more in aged people than children since with growing age the bones get hard and brittle and children’s bones are more flexible and are lesser chances of getting fractured.
Symptoms of bone fractures
• Swelling of the affected area.
• Inability of the functions of the injured area.
• Bruising around the affected area.
• Disfigurement of bones.
Arthritis
It is the inflammation of the joints along with the pain, stiffness and swelling. There are different types of Arthritis and each type has different symptoms and modes of treatment. Almost all the body parts can be affected by Arthritis and you can find swelling, joint redness and warmth in certain kinds of Arthritis. Due to the prolonged condition some of the forms are chronic otherwise some forms of Arthritis have less bothering symptoms but can damage the joints gradually.
Symptoms of Arthritis
• Mild pain and stiffness of joints while bending and walking.
• Stooping pain in the joints event in the rest condition or while sleeping.
• Stiffness in the joints when the body is not moved for a certain period of time.
• Difficulty or disability in moving the joints.
Joint Dislocation
When the joint loses its original place and slips out from its natural place, it is known in medical terms as dislocated joints. The dislocation may result in malfunctioning of the joint and can adversely affect the normal working of the joints. Severe dislocation may cause tearing of muscles, tendons and ligaments. Since the main functions of muscles, tendons and ligaments is to support the joint. The joint dislocation is often common to the person meeting an accident or fall. In such cases the patient should not be moved and an orthopedic should be consulted immediately for medical attention.

• Swelling around the joints
• Severe pain
• Inability to move or work
