The article continues to offer brief information about the most exciting events that will occur in Rio this March.

In the first part of our article we’ve learned more about what is going in Rio de Janeiro this March. Even if the events list was empty there still are plenty of things to do as you have plenty of beaches, many bars, restaurants and the nightlife is to die for. With this second part of the article we will continue to give our input regarding what will happen in March.
First of all, here are the carnival balls dates:
1. Thursday, March 03th - Salgueiro Carnival Ball;
2. Friday, March 4th - Red and Black Ball;
3. Saturday, March 5th - Mangueira Carnival Ball;
4. Sunday, March 6th - City Ball;
5. Monday, March 7th - Ball of the ´Beer´;
6. Tuesday, March 8th - Gay Costume Ball.
If you are interested in the street parties and bands, the following lists consist of the best Carnival bands and Carnival Street Bands:
1. Cordao do Bola Preta – Downtown;
2. Banda de Ipanema – Ipanema;
3. Suvaco do Cristo - Botanic Garden;
4. Carmelitas - Santa Teresa.

2. Banda de Ipanema – Ipanema;
3. Monobloco – Copacabana;
4. Bip-Bip – Copacabana.
If you are a business owner, you might want to check the Rio de Janeiro Business & Brazil Real Estate Group meeting which will be held on March 8th at 7.30 PM in the Clandestino Bar, which is a very interesting Mexican restaurant located right in the center of Copacabana. Here there will be 5 minute presentations and a great opportunity to promote a business. Five of the guests that will be there will be sharing some tips on how to improve the business.
On March 12th this year, Rio will be the host of the Winner’s Parade during the 2011 edition of the famous Carnival. The doors will open at 5 PM and it ends in the morning at 6. The first samba school will enter the pathway at 9 in the evening. The show will certainly be interesting taking into consideration that the very best six samba schools from the Special Group (the ones that parade on Sunday and Monday) will take part in the event.
For those of you that like rock music, you will be glad to know that the legendary band Iron Maiden will be performing in Rio de Janeiro on March 27th at the HSBC Arena as part of their Final Frontier World Tour 2011. The exact address for the concert is 3401 Barra da Tijuca, Avenida Embaixador Abelardo Bueno.
An annual event that is being organized in the city is the Art Exhibition by the Brazilian Academy of the Environment. Here, artists from all over the country will gather around in order to exhibit their work at the Brazilian Academy of the Environment’s annual exhibition which is being organized at the Army Historical Museum in the Copacabana Fort. For the Environment Day there will be a special concert programmed.
All things considered, if you plan on visiting Rio de Janeiro this upcoming March you will have plenty of entertainment options to choose from, especially the Carnival which is the largest party in the world.
