It has become a season that has noticed new really like interests, new agents, and new revelations. However, tonight’s appropriately titled season finale (“Reset”) canceled a lot of that and place us again at square one with Warehouse 13. Whilst there had been several unhappy moments on thee finale, I need to begin with my personal heartbreak:
After a mad dash that consists of a pair of wings and some misplaced humor, Artie saves the day and Pete and Myka are able to escape. But one query stays: How the hell did Artie get from South Dakota to Egypt that fast? The entire intro is just cheese….cheesier than something Kraft ever developed. The Warehouse two graphics are ludicrously poor (which includes the rainbow effects around the wings of Daedalus), the jokes within the middle of what’s meant to become mortal peril ruin any sense of suspense, and there’s just not any sense of growing stress inside the story.
A great component of this villainy will be the way Wells goes right after Pete’s girlfriend Kelly. It is a dirty, cruel distraction that is meant to inflict misery and confusion. Now that’s a proper villain transfer! Welcome back again for the antagonist’s club, H.G. She even arrives up having a clever use of an artifact that can make Artie’s personal gunshot hurt himself - that was without a doubt the best executed notion in the whole episode, and it led to a heartwarming little scene where Claudia will get all misty as she realizes she could have lost her new father-figure.
But sadly, H.G.’s poor girl act gets all cliche, and Miss Wells ends up in one of these traditional, eye-roll inducing moments where the very good man pleads to your villain, who should in turn pour their heart out and reveal the determination behind their dastardly plans, only to become thwarted within the finish through the power with the hero’s type words. We’ve noticed this prior to, countless instances. Warehouse 13 undoubtedly has had its honest share of Tv trope moments prior to, but we also had some fairly revolutionary, unique storylines as well. Despite the long string of wonderful episodes previously on, there wasn’t significantly new or particularly clever about this episode. It felt predictable, and rushed, and contemplating the quality of several of the mid-season stories, I found this a extremely disappointing way to wrap up the season.
While I am very unhappy that she was not truly a good guy like I had hoped, I've a feeling we will see her once more, given that they didn’t put her back again in the bronze segment. She has this kind of wonderful potential as a good man. She even had her own custom Tesla gun that had an great steampunk look to it. The only redeeming top quality she has for me now is that she showed she isn’t pure evil because she couldn’t shoot Myka.
I'm really unhappy that Pete was not able to hang on to your lady he loves and he has misplaced that tiny piece with the normal world. The only actual pleased stage in this episode was that Claudia and Artie are so shut to becoming father and daughter. From him explaining to her that she truly did have a selection and that she would only turn out to be the caretaker with her complete consent, to how emotional Claudia obtained when Artie was wounded, we are able to see that they truly do care quite much for every other and are closer to becoming family members that both wants to confess.
It'll come as no main shock to fans of “Warehouse 13? that Artie Nielsen (Saul Rubinek) by some means survived the seemingly deadly blast that enveloped him within the final moments of season 1. Happily for Artie, this can be season two, and this really is “Warehouse 13.” Right here, weird is schedule, and greatest of all, Artie’s return is the beginning gun to get a sequence of odd developments that can depart viewers wondering precisely what’s going on.
