Visiting an apartment for buying, you need to take care of many things such as its location, proximity to the transport, environment and more. You cannot remember all those at once so here is a check list of all those items you can bring a printed copy of

When visiting an apartment, it is difficult to remember the characteristics of each and if you want to execute a successful and worth buy then you need to note all the important points to compare at their leisure for all the apartments visited. Take pictures, if you are permitted.
Below is a checklist you can bring a printed copy of this to ensure that you are not missing anything.
Information about the property
• Where appropriate, not down the details of the real estate agency that made you visit the home and also verify it for a secure investment.
• Note the dates of visits.
• Address of the housing.
• The location of accommodation: near shops, schools, transport, green spaces etc.
• The list price, possibly with feedback on the negotiation.
• Floor type.
• The total area of housing and the surface of each piece.
• The number of parts.
• General state: wallpaper / paint, flooring, electrical, plumbing etc.
• Orientation.
• The presence or absence of a balcony, its size and exposure.
• The type of heating and seniority.
• The presence or absence of a double glazing.
• Connection to cable or not.
• Equipments of the kitchen.
Note: Remember to visit the apartment at different times of day and evening for analyzing the ventilation. You can also ask you real estate agency for further clarification about any of the listed points.
• The date of construction of the building.
• The external and internal condition of the building.
• Security: availability of code intercom, magnetic badge, security door etc.
• The presence or absence of a lift, its size and condition.
• The presence or absence of a cellar, its size and condition.
• The presence or absence of a garage or parking lot, its size and condition.
• The presence or absence of a bicycle / stroller to.
Ask the amount of
• Monthly charges.
• Property taxes.
• Local taxes.
• Where applicable, the amounts of future work.
• Other applicable charges, if any.
Refer to important documents
• The last minutes of the general meeting of condominium.
• Technical diagnostics of the units and common areas: surface, lead, asbestos, termites, gas, natural and technological hazards, energy efficiency, electricity.
• The service manual of the condominium.
The checklist above is for the residential apartments and plots or homes. If you are visiting a commercial property then you may need to ask your real estate consultant or might need to prepare a new checklist.
