Bad credit Car Finance company moneybarn.com has found that cars manufactured by Vauxhall lead the top ten most financed cars in the non-prime market.

Bad credit Car Finance company moneybarn.com has found that cars manufactured by Vauxhall lead the top ten most financed cars in the non-prime market. The Vauxhall Astra topped the list, followed by the Ford Focus and BMW 3 Series in joint second place. Three other Vauxhall models featured in the top ten financed cars for customers who have found it difficult to obtain credit elsewhere, with the Vauxhall Vectra, Vauxhall Zafira and Vauxhall Corsa in third, fourth and sixth place respectively.

The top ten financed vehicles were:
1. Vauxhall Astra
2. Ford Focus and BMW 3 Series (Joint 2nd)
3. Vauxhall Vectra
4. Vauxhall Zafira
5. Ford Fiesta
6. Vauxhall Corsa
7. Ford Mondeo
8. Honda Civic
9. Mercedes Benz C Class and Volkswagen Golf (Joint 9th)
10. Audi A4 and Rover Range Rover (Joint 10th)

These results appear to follow the trend of the most popular cars in 2010, where the Vauxhall Astra came second after the Ford Fiesta, and the Vauxhall Corsa came fourth. When the new 61 plate models are launched next month in September 2011, it will be interesting to see whether customers continue the trend to choose to buy a New Ford Fiesta or New Vauxhall Astra. Lisburn,Nottingham and Derby customers, and indeed throughout the UK, customers seem to make a clear choice when choosing Vauxhall cars, possibly because they have a reputation for being reliable, affordable and have low running costs, and in a post credit-crunch world, these aspects of a vehicle are far more important than prestige cars and high performance cars.
