Computed tomography and transrectal ultrasound are also used to evaluate the size of enlarged prostate gland.

Side effects after vaporization procedure
Impotence - Difficulty in reaching a complete erection or erection fails within few seconds
Urgency - Increased frequency and unusual urination feeling
Decreased sexual desire: Overall sexual desire of the patient gets decreased and he may not have any sexual urge.
Retrograde ejaculation- Semen which is naturally directed to the urethra is redirected to the urinary bladder.
