Sony tablets are a bit late in this tablet market. Sony's brand and reputation for design have long been resonated with consumers. So in order to dominate the consumer electronics once again, they have come up with some handsome tablets with an unusual, asymmetrical design and some software tweaks and content services. Some concern were raised regarding their high price and features which would not really help Sony tablets to become the leader in the market. Sony joins a slew of technology companies hoping to win a share in a market where many have stumbled in pursuit of Apple. Sony is trying to distinguish its Android tablets from others with features such as having one model function as a universal remote, while another folds like a clamshell.
Sony is coming up with a new Dual Screen Tablet called Sony S2. It would run Android Honeycomb operating system. It will flaunt a 5.5 inch touch-screen display with 1024 X 480 pixels resolutions. Sony S2 is said to be powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 Processor, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory. It comes with different connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, IR and USB. Sony S2 price in India has not been revealed. But going by the high-end specs, Sony S2 price in India will be of premium range.
