Medieval Costumes for men were apparently simple, but very distinctly used to highlight the sleeves of the garments. Knights preferred wearing sleeveless “surcoats” covered with a coat of arms. Since the age was dominated by the notorious pirates, people often preferred the frills and the special pirate hats with feathers to look classy and different in the party.

So if today you desire to ape the style of the medieval age, do understand that the style you copy must enhance your beauty and you incorporate the materials like, velvet, brocades and silk in your costume. Tunics were commonly worn by ladies and elites never missed their stylish and decorated hats on their head. For affluent class, their dresses were elaborately weaved, they commonly wore long gowns and flashy head covers. Married women wore tight fitting caps and nets on the hair.

But while you decide to incorporate the diversity of the medieval clothing you can just mix and match with the velvets, gowns and head gear matching it up with high heels, laces and pouches to give a complete evening look. For men a pirate clothing would be a perfect choice for any theme party or Halloween night.
