Well Toshiba is not a name as popular as Dell, Hp or maybe sony, but the truth is lesser popularity, or rather lesser advertisements doesn’t make the brand lesser competent. However, the prices, off course are lesser costly. And the one device from Toshiba that we are particularly talking about is the Toshiba Thrive. This is the tablet that Toshiba has launched against the other tablets that other brands have launched, and if you trust us, we would suggest you to at least go through the features and the specs of the gadget if not buy it. We, being concerned about you and your hard-earned money, do not want you to end up buying a tablet with similar configuration and attributes but at a pretty higher cost.

The Display Type 10.1 in TFT active matrix - LED backlight screen is what gives it the rocking look and makes it look pretty gorgeous too. The display Resolution of this Toshiba tablet is 1280 x 800 pixels and if we talk about the other integrated things of the equipment, we are quite firm, you would be astonished. The processor that Toshiba has lodged in this device is the NVIDIA Tegra 2 1 GHz which will minimize your conflicts with the device and the problem that you might encounter with it otherwise. Then the Dual-Core Technology of the system does more wonders to the same. With a Flash Memory of 16 GB and RAM of1 GB - DDR2 SDRAM, the system has got a nice score earned in the memory zone. Then Toshiba Thrive also has this amazing 5 megapixels camera studded on its rear and the camera is capable of functions like Focus Adjustment Automatic and HD Video Recording720p and the Front-facing 2 Megapixel camera also adds on to the fun of picture clicking. The drive like all the other ipads in the market has got Microphone and speaker(s). The GPS System, GPS Navigation, GPS receiver and the inclusion of Google Maps, Google Maps Street View and Google Maps Navigation in the drive also give you all the reasons to like it. With the sensors like Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyro sensor and Digital compass, the device can run up to 11 hours.
