Notion Ink’s Adam on sale once again

Notion Ink’s Adam tablets was showcased earlier at the CES trade expo in January 2010 and had resurfaced once again this year. The pre-orders have been sold out and now the Adam tablet is available on first come first serve basis only. One has to sign up an e-mail subscription to become eligible for purchase. You will then receive an email from Notion Ink with the link to the Notion Ink Store along with your user name (your email address) and your password. Moving away from the complex buying procedure, let’s take a look at its powerful configuration, which makes it so desirable!

The Adam is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 250 processor with a Dual Core Cortex A9, and supports 1080p video playback on an HDTV via HDMI port. One of the highlights of this tablet is the amazing low power consuming trans-reflective 1024x600 display made by the optional Pixel Qi, which can even be viewed under direct sunlight. Yet another standout feature of the Adam, is the 3.2 Megapixel camera, which swivels 185 degrees and can capture 720p HD video. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi+3G and Wi-Fi-only. It will come with a modified version of Android 2.3 and Notion Ink's own skin named Eden (a radical re-think of the default Android interface), now in version 1.5. Depending upon the configuration you choose, it is available in four variations as follows:
