Every person might meet some difficulties to get along with the co-workers. The following tips may help you to avoid the bad office relations.

1. Say a cheery "Hi or Good morning" to your colleague in the morning. Do you go into your office like this, eyes down, shoulder slumped, and start work immediately? If the answer is yes, you may find a co-work ignore you or the worse he or she will try to keep a distance with you. If you do no want to be the ignored person, you should bring the cheery smile and greeting to everyone you come cross in the morning. It is a good to change the chilly work relationships.
2. Study the skill of small conversation. You can ask your co-worker about their most like music, movies, books and hobbies. If you give a genuine interest to them, they will be comfortable around you. If it is proper, you can tell them your life after the work. This can let the people you work together know you are a co-worker but no just a employee or employer.
3. Ask what they think. People all like to be consulting some opinions. Therefore, just ask some references from your colleagues, "What do you think is missing in this report?" or "How do you think if I left out this words?" After that, give your genuine thanks to the adviser even though the suggestion does not help you much.
4. Do not say any gossip. Every person do not hear anything that other talk her behind her back, you are no exception. When a gossip colleague tells who is connecting with office romance, what you need to do is to response: "Really?" Then go back your work. If you do not answer anything, you will retain a respect of your co-workers.
5. Return phones and mails immediately. To make friends in the company, good office etiquette is important. The busy person will be very frustrated when their mails and calls are ignored. Your silences not just delay their work progress, but it also shows them bad information to them: you are not responsible.
When you are doing with a difficult co-worker, assume a little kid is asking your question. This assumption will help you to keep a cool mind. The important is that you will have a good manner when you are teaching a child. You can be very polite to your colleagues with their waching.
Now this is for the employer: often work as hard as anyone working with you. Make sure that you will never ask any person to do a work which you are unwilling to do it by yourself.
8. Never to be late to express your full respect to other person's time.
9. You can express your good opinions in a way and others may think about it. They will have a good impression on you.
