For getting to Girona, you can easily take a train from Paseig de Gracia station, Barcelona. In case you want to reach Girona by air, there is a small airport that caters to a number of discount airlines including the service from Ryanair. You can also get to Girona by bus. There is a dedicated bus service that connects Barcelona with Girona airport. It could cost you around €10 to travel one-way by bus.
