Great aspect is that most of remains and collections of civilizations are available in the museums of Spain.
The government has special focus on museums because of which they are well established and open for public exhibitions. The Museums of Spain are a great source of bringing tourists because what these museums have is not found anywhere around the world. Similarly some of the museums of Spain are built in the antique buildings which are worth seeing themselves along with the historical collections.
Estepona is one of the ancient cities of Spain and it has seen some immaculate times since ages. Luckily Estepona is one of the cities of Spain having some wonderful Museums. Museum Paleontology is one of the delights of the city. It remains open six days a week. The museum shows the wealth of faunistica fossil of Pliocene having 4 million years history.
Municipal Museums of Estepona are famous because they are located in Plaza de Toros which is a fascinating building in its own capacity. It remains open for public display six days a week. From Monday to Friday it remains open between 9:30 am to 3:00 pm and similarly on Saturdays it remains open between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
For the history lovers the best museum in Estepona is Archaeological. It has remains from the Paleolithic times. One can find series of Carved of Stone in that museum to satisfy the hunger of eyes. The testimonies from the Neolithic times are available in this Museum. One can witness the ages of Copper and Bronze in this Museum. Stone made axes and ceramics are also there for public exhibition.
There is an Ethnographic Museum in Estepona, Spain. This museum shows the culture and customs of inhabitants of this city in the recent centuries. Bullfighting is one of the oldest traditions of Spain and there is a separate Museum for that in this city. That Museum is dedicated to a great bullfighter named as Antonio Ordonez.
