The cello is also the second largest among string instruments in the modern day symphony orchestra. This instrument is generally played in string orchestra, chamber music, normal orchestra’s string wing and solo performances. It was derives from the slightly square and small instrument of the old ages, the viola da braccio. With the ending of the 18th century, the cello was so famous that it had replaced almost all midsized instruments that were required to be played with a bow.
A violin bow is utilized to play the string instrument of the viol family. Bow is the instrument which is used to play violin, cello and viola. The bow is moved across the strings in string instrument, which vibrates them and thus produces sound. A wooden stick which has a string made of horse hair attached at both ends is called a violin bow. The ends at which the horse hair string is attached are called tip and nut or frog or heel. Violin bows are generally made up of Brazil wood.
