The classroom of growth & becoming

Thousands of years before the great seers had concluded that potential of a human being that appears without (outside) in terms of physical appearance is merely an infinitesimal portion in comparison with the vast reservoir of abilities embedded deep within us. They furthered their research to commoners through a easy mode in order to benefit and enable them attain growth and cherish their core objectives. That mode of personal growth and becoming came through a wonderful technique of ‘meditation’. Meditation was the turning of ones awareness inward where the unchartered dimensions lay untouched. Their endowment to the mankind has not been able to fetch an equivalent but at the same time; unfortunately it is (mediation as the classroom of growth and becoming) mostly misunderstood in many disingenuous, confusing and deviated terms.

The classroom for growth & becoming required certain prerequisite eligibility… as factors that produce a state wherein one shall actually attain growth along with sought results. Those prerequisite eligibility criterions included certain amendment in the conduct of an aspirant with a basic motive so that the journey within can proceed without much effort. Besides; the seers emphasized upon the beforehand preparation that led to calming ones within & for that they provided simple techniques of restoring peace through various breathing and contemplative exercises…

The basic idea for insisting one to produce certain changes in ones conduct and other breathing or contemplative exercises was merely one that through them one could easily harmonize self (bring turbulence within to a Halt) in order to understand the truth within and traverse to produce sought changes including growth and channelization of ones abilities towards ones core objectives. Those great seers gave us another advice to undergo this session of growth and becoming (meditation) to commence on daily basis on an ascertained place and at a fixed time. In simple terms the seers suggested that one should observe the session for ones meditation at a fixed place and fixed time i.e. one should not change the place and time of ones meditation. Their advise comes in light of various aspects of ones bio clock as well attunement of the subconscious mind.

During meditation after having gone through the exercises that calm the state within one becomes prone to another world where new fact and observations surface to ones awareness… facts about various layers of ones deeper self… facts about the relation of this microcosmic entity (ones individuality) with the macrocosmic at large… facts about forces of nature that impact the movements within and without… facts about forces with different stature and dimension and their impact upon ones life within and without… besides the highway that measure time and space… But one must keep it in ones mind that all progress in the realms of inner growth and becoming goes through various aspects where at times effortless growth and no growth despite all efforts creates lot of uncertainty amidst a seeker.

And there is another distorted face of this meditative phenomenon where it is misunderstood by most in form of a prayer (yearning). A prayer is merely a petition before higher forces to enable one achieve some objective whereas meditation is the classroom of growth and becoming. desire2will.com.
