Trade shows displays are vital components in your financial success at trade shows. And, whether it is a portable display or trade show booths, you have the responsibility to make it a potential client magnet by simply knowing your target audience.

A Trade Show can be as fun and colorful as any recognized parade. Everyone plays a role in displaying their wares as elaborately as possible to attract the attention of the assembling professionals within a particular industry or profession that make the most of the trade show displays-the ultimate showcase to display and show off products or services.
Trade shows are a great opportunity to get face-to-face with potential clients which has proven to be a cost-effective marketing technique with motivated target-market potentials. Your job as an exhibitor is to creatively meet as many qualified clients as possible in order to connect and develop personal relationships. People still like knowing who they are dealing with. It gives them a feeling of having an "in."
Your responsibility as an exhibitor is to create eye-catching, informative, well-planned trade show displays that target your potential buyers. Far too many trade show booths miss out on a tremendous marketing opportunity because they don't have a focused plan to entice and qualify their target market and worst of all, they don't follow-up on the leads they do get while they are fresh and hot.
In the ever changing world of emails, websites, online videos and voice mails, trade shows present the rare and valuable opportunity to build real one-on-one relationships with your clientele. People still want personal contact with those they do business with, whether it's from trade show booths or not. And whether your trade show is successful or a flop depends greatly on your presentation preparedness.
Focus and invest in quality. Invest in shows that reach the key decision-makers of your industries target market. And, no matter what type of trade show displays you choose-a portable display or more elaborate trade show booths to exhibit what you have to offer keep it clean, organized, attractive and inviting. Plan your trade show displays for your audience. Do your homework and learn everything you can about the size and type of space you will be provided, including location, neighboring displays, traffic flow, lighting, electricity hook-ups, anything that can help or hinder your purpose-to attract motivated buyers.
The quality of your trade show displays can make or break you. Flashy doesn't always mean quality. And some professional clients can be turned off by clownish displays. Remember it is not the shear number of people your display draws but how they engage when spending time at your display. And it doesn't matter if your display is a portable display, a wall display, a custom trade show booth. What matters is if it is attractive, organized, identifiable, and offers information, and interactive occasions such as displays, contests or demonstrations. Keep a tidy area because you don't want anything distracting your captive audience.
Portable displays are ideal for presenting a few choice pieces of product or brochures on. They are usually within eye level and fir perfectly on most table tops. What you do want is to create an image of demand. People want what is "in demand" because that, to them, says value. Leave a few spaces open to appear as if supplies are limited or that you have been slammed and unable to restock sold product. But be professional and make certain that those manning trade show booths or portable displays are well trained and have the information clients need and want. It's all about educating the client to their need for your product or service in a visually pleasing environment.
