Mini projectors are same with slide projectors. They make use of convex imaging theory to project a transparent object to form a magnified image on the screen. They consist of the optical system, ventilation equipment and circuits. Its optical system mainly is a light source, auxiliary condenser, threaded lens, projection lens and reflector. Among them, light source, projection lens and reflector have its requirements and functions similar to slide projector.
The condenser system: Most of the condensers are threaded lenses or Fresnel lenses. It is composited by two thin flat glass plates with concentric circles. It can act as a large diameter lens. The advantages of the thread lens are the larger diameter, the light weight and the good transparency. The main disadvantage is it will cause distortion when the temperature is above 70℃.
In order to reduce the surface temperature of the thread lens, we will install a new moon lens between light source and condenser lens. And we call it the auxiliary condenser lens. It not only can block the radiation the light energy to thread lens, but also expand the inclusive angle of the thread lens. On the thread lens there is the loading glass. It not only can show the slide, but also can make a demonstration of some experiments or teaching aids.
Plane mirror: there is an angle adjustable plane mirror to transform the vertical light from the condenser lens to be the horizontal light. Therefore, the slide will be horizontally placed from vertically and get the magnified image on the screen. Teachers can face the students and explain the slide shows, it is very convenient. When you start the machine, you should firstly open the plane mirror to ensure the light from the light source to the screen after starting the machine and make the light spot appear on the screen. If the plane mirror cannot be open, it will affect the product life.
There are also some important electrical equipments and ventilation equipments for mini projectors. The transformer will transform 220V into 24V AC voltage for lamp to use. The lamp bulb mostly is 24V/300W bromine tungsten bulb light. It will generate a lot of heat when working. The internal temperature will inevitably rise to damage the thread lens and electrical equipments. So the machine has a squirrel-cage fan. In addition, plane mirror can be adjusted up and rotated for 360 degrees. If the machine body is positioned, it can project images on any wall of the projection room.
