The latest Nokia named the Nokia Lumia 800comes with a 3.7 inch display screen which while being smaller than most other phones in its class yet does not disappoint as a Smartphone. The AMOLED capacitive touchscreen can identify 16 million colors which gives incredible clarity to pictures. The Gorilla Glass display with the ClearBlack technology gives a resolution of 480*800 pixels. Nokia’s sensitive controls are the best with this model with the Accelerometer sensor that allows auto-user interface rotating and the Proximity sensor turns the phone off when not in use. The Nokia Lumia 800comes with the Windows 7.5 Mango the latest OS in the Windows mobile OS. A powerful 1.4 GHz Scorpion processor helps to make multitasking easier.

The camera in this phone is an 8MP for the primary camera and the lens is from Carl Zeiss. High quality pictures are easy with the Auto-focus, dual LED flash etc. Record videos at 720p at 30 frames/second. The Nokia Lumia 800supports HSDPA as well as HSUPA and it is a Smartphone with 3G enabled in it. It also supports GPRS of dual band, micro USB, Bluetooth, EDGE and WLAN for better connectivity. The GPS navigation systems will allow you to locate places on maps easily as the software is Nokia Drive. This software uses the GPS systems to download maps without using a 3G connection. The battery is of the usual superior Nokia quality with 1450 mAH battery that has 13 hours of talk time and up to 250 hours of standby time.

This model is now available in 3 colors, pink, blue and black. All the three color schemes offer the same features and specifications but only differ in the exterior with the color schemes. The phone is available with the usual ‘Pay as you Go’, contracts and the Nokia 800 Sim Free schemes but the most popular among these has always been the scheme with the Nokia 800 Sim free allowing the user to choose the network of his choice without being restricted to any one network.
