PNC Park The stadium is on the north shore along the Allegheny River. It opened in 2001 and is sponsored by PNC Financial Services. It is unique because it incorporates limestone in the facade and has steel truss work. The stadium also has natural grass and can seat 38,496 people. The stadium has a picnic area on the top of the right field stands that can sit up to 300 fans. There is also a Brew Pub in the Left Field for 500 people that offers a beautiful view of the field and city.
