Did you know that your carpet does the extra job of a giant filter that traps allergens and pollutants within it. Over time, these serve as hosts to a number of germs, pests and dust mites, thus putting your family’s health at risk. Besides this, think of the dirt and sand particles, that gets accumulated on the carpet. Hence it’s important to keep your carpet clean. Steam cleaning is probably the most commonly heard method used for carpet cleaning. But besides this there are several other types of methods that are used to clean carpets. These include, foam cleaning, shampoo cleaning, bonnet cleaning, and the dry cleaning method.
The Dry carpet cleaning method uses specialized machines and biodegradable organic powder to get rid of stains, allergens, dust mites and pollutants. This “very low moisture cleaning” method incorporates a four –part procedure, which begins by thoroughly vacuuming the areas to be cleaned, 75% of all soil in your carpet is dry soil and it can be removed by pre-vacuuming. This is a step recommended by many but few seldom do this step. The second step is spreading a biodegradable powder over the carpet. These powders act like sponges that release cleaning agents to attract dust. This is then brushed into the carpet with a special machine, to allow the cleaner to dissolve, trap dust and germs and also remove spots, spills and greasy oily dirt. The powder is then removed through a powerful vacuum cleaner. So what’s left is a spotless, dry, clean carpet.
We’ve been ingrained with the thought that anything that involves cleaning right from clothes to car and from body to hair involves excessive use of water. That’s probably why a number of people are cynical about using the dry carpet cleaning method. But once you’ve managed to understand the benefits of dry carpet cleaning, there isn’t a better way to clean carpets. Also, the dry carpet cleaning method isn’t exactly dry. It involves the use of very low moisture, to get desired results.
Wet carpet cleaning on the other hand uses the shampooing method or the foam cleaning method to get rid of the dusts and allergens. However, the biggest disadvantage of using this method is that the carpet takes almost 12 to 24 hours before it can be used. Dry cleaning on the other hand ensures that you are ready to use your carpet once you are done with the cleaning. Also since a non organic base is used to clean the carpet these are a cleaner and green option as well. However, before you use the dry cleaning method make sure that the product that’s being used is organic and does not cause allergic reactions. Doesn’t matter if you are looking for Carpet cleaning in Woodstock, Carpet cleaning in Acworth, Carpet cleaning in Kennesaw or carpet cleaning in Marietta…remember to get a cleaner who can provide you with greener and organic options.
Immaterial of the procedure used, it’s important that your carpet is cleaned regularly to keep your family healthy. As earlier said these carpets are a breeding ground for mold spores, dust mites, allergens and pollutants. Proper care ensures that these remain clean and free from dust.
