Blackjack is one of online casino games that offers the players a very high average returns which usually are up to 99%. However, a condition must be met by the players, which is to make optimum moves. Double is a good example of optimum move. The first is the strength of the players hand and the second is the weakness of the dealers hand, The process of decision making assumes that the next card to be dealt has a high probability of being a a 10value card. If the player holds a hand value of 11, then the probability of reaching a value of 21 is very high. Hence he should always double in a situation like this. If the player is holding a hand value of 10, he can expect to be in a strong position after he doubles. However if the dealer's up card is either a 10value card or an ace, the players position is somehow weakened. So the player should double if he holds a hand value of 10, unless the dealer has an upcard of 10value card or an ace. IF the dealer holds an upcard of 4,5 or 6, he's likely to draw two cards and go bust. This is a very good situation to double. However the player has to guard his own going bust. Thhis could occur if he has a hand value of 12 or greater, while hand values of 7 or less weakens the player's chance, therefore a player should double if he holds a hand value between 8 and 11 and the dealer holds an upcard between 4 and 6.
