Many other outdoor activities that take advantage of the beautiful scenery are operated in the Cotswolds and this includes mountain biking, horse riding, and golf. Let's start off with walking as this is unquestionably one of the best activities you can do on a visit to the spectacular part of the country. Golf is one of those Cotswolds attractions that is made all the better by its rolling hills and spectacular scenery and the area is full of excellent 18-hole golf courses. Plenty of the golf courses in the region are aware that many of the people who want to play are visitors, so there are very few clubs that are for members only. It is also possible to find several clubs with very reasonable charges so you won't have to spend a fortune playing here.

Cleeve Hill Golf Club is rugged and set in picturesque surrounds and is an excellent place to play a round of golf. Many excellent players call this club their home and you will be sure to have a great game. If you are looking for something a little flatter then could be a good idea to head to Hartington Golf Centre, another fantastic course.
