The HTC EVO 3D will ship with version 2.3 (aka Gingerbread), whilst the LG Optimus 3D comes with version 2.2 (aka Froyo), although this is upgradeable to later versions. The latter also utilises the LG 3D user interface, and the HTC EVO 3D has HTC Sense 3.0. These are both impressive and functional user interfaces, and it is really down to personal preference as to which is better. An advantage of the Android operating system is that it allows users of both handsets to download additional apps from the Android Market. Internal Storage The HTC EVO 3D comes with a useful 1GB of internal storage as standard, which is used for storing files such as music tracks and video clips, as well as apps which have been downloaded from the Android market. The LG Optimus 3D comes with a more substantial 8GB of internal storage. However both handsets have an integrated microSD card slot. This feature allows a memory card of up to 32GB to be installed, vastly increasing the potential storage capacity of each handset. There is much more to the HTC EVO 3D and LG Optimus 3D than is mentioned in this article, not least the impressive and cutting edge 3D technology which sets these two handsets apart from rival smartphones.
