For the thousands of students of B.Ed or similar qualifications, who want to pursue teaching jobs, the CTET 2012 would be one of the golden opportunities to score the edge in such a profession. There are plenty of schools under the ministry of human resource development of India. And requirement of teachers in these schools is also quite high. Since primary level education in India is being given stress throughout the country, it is the schools at the primary level and secondary level that are being given more attention. So, there is always a recruitment drive going on for filling up all the vacancies whenever they arise, so that the education in these schools goes on in the best possible standard.
To enable the recruitment of teachers in various schools, the CTET is being conducted every year during the month of January. The schools that are included under the central teacher eligibility test are the KVN, NVS and Tibetan Schools in the country, the schools under the UTs of Chandigarh and Andaman Island and those schools in the states, which agree to induct teachers through the CTET. In such a situation, the CTET in 2012 is therefore being looked forward to, by the students of B.Ed to get jobs in these different schools.
Like every year, this exam in 2012 will be held in the month of January and the form would be available from the month of December of previous year. Candidates who are interested for the CTET 2012 should take care to go through the different steps of appearing in the exam and keep in mind 3 specific things to enable a successful attempt.
Eligibility criteria – The students who want to appear in the CTET in this year should be alert for the publication of the advertisement for the eligibility test. And when the test is advertised, they will have to take a look at the eligibility criteria so that they ensure that they are eligible. The students are required to pass their graduation or senior secondary level in different subjects with a minimum pass percentage. Depending on whether the students are applying for teaching posts in the primary school level or senior secondary level, the eligibility will differ and this has to be made clear first, before putting in the application form.
Studying as per the pattern – To qualify in the entrance written test, the students should be well versed in the types of questions that would be coming in the exam. To make this possible, the students need to go through the different test papers of previous years so that they do not get confused and are sure about the pattern. In case of any changes in the exam pattern, they can get the information from the prospectus of the CTET 2012 and this should be marked.
Putting in the application form – This is the factor that is always underrated but has the maximum importance in the whole exam set up. Filling the application form with the right information and sending it to the exam conducting body, is something that should be the priority, or else people will not be able to sit in the exams.
The CTET is a gateway for a better future in the teaching jobs for many people because it helps students of B.Ed land up good jobs in various schools throughout the country. For all those aspirants, it is a golden opportunity, which they are not liable to miss out on.
