Business Process Management is the ability to discover, design, deploy, execute, interact with, operate, optimize and analyses end to end processes, and to do it at the level of business design, not technical execution. It is similarly anxious with the consistent accomplishment of simple one-off business transactions and with difficult arrangements that may continue for weeks, months or even years.

• Discovery means becoming clearly attentive of how things are really done, as conflicting to what is said to be done. This involves capturing – physically or robotically – the business processes from the outlook of all members, including the computer systems that implement parts of the process, and any sub-processes that it may make use of. Discovery improves a clear picture of how the business processes work inside and outside.

• Design means normally modeling, designing, simulating and redesigning the process as the enterprise learns what is conceivable. Business analysts require restructuring processes rapidly in response to competitive pressure or business opportunity. Process configuration and disintegration will be a key feature, as systems and business interfaces are reengineered internally or with partners.

• Deployment means developing out new processes to all the members, comprising people, applications and other processes. Good business process management schemes will make it easy to organize new processes, so change will be skilled with little or no programming. Application mechanisms will be combined in advance, using a prediction of the processes entrenched in the application business logic.

• Execution means confirming that the new process is recognized out by all members – people, other enterprises, systems and other processes. It includes managing dispersed transactions using new and legacy systems across multifaceted nested processes, and interweaving existing requests as process mechanisms of larger procedures.

• Interaction means permitting humans to accomplish the interface between automated and manual processes. For example, the workflow user interface is itself a process, lying between the automated and manual domains. Process management needs the definition of workflow processes and their interaction with both automated and manual activities.

• Operating and preserving is mostly concerned with overriding to resolve exclusions. Other management tasks comprise moving the borderline between private implementation of the process in the organization and the public interface to partners; upgrading methods on the fly at the level of sub-processes; adding, removing and changing participants in the process; and re-allocating the process steps between business entities.

• Optimization means business process improvement, which should be an ongoing activity. It closes the loop between process design and process maintenance. The domain of optimization will need to expand beyond the organization’s walls. The system should automatically detect bottlenecks, deadlocks and other inconsistencies in processes across whole extended enterprise – that is everyone and everything
Involved in delivering value to the customer.

• Analysis means calculating process performance and formulating improvement approaches. Analysis offers a wide-angle view of the time and resources consumed by enterprise wide processes. Analytical tools guide process improvement and deployment.
