Reports suggest that the petrol variant car would adorn a 1200 cc engine while the diesel variant of the car would be loaded with a 1500 cc engine.</p> <p>The currently going Maruti Swift Dzire petrol is powered by a 1.2 litre K-12 series engine which is mated with a five speed manual transmission engine while the diesel version of the car comes loaded with a 1.3Litre DDiS engine with 5 step multi point common rail fuel injection system.
