Ohio is a Midwestern state in the USA, and its geographic location is an asset for economic growth and expansion. A great deal of cargo and business traffic pass through its borders, as Ohio links Northeast to Midwest. Lake Erie is to the North of Ohio, giving Ohio 312 miles of coastline. The state of Michigan is northwest of Ohio, Canada is North, and to the east is Pennsylvania. Kentucky borders the south of the state, and West Virginia, the south-east. West of Ohio is the state of Indiana Much of Ohio is very flat, a geographical feature known as 'glaciated plains'. However some parts, do feature rugged hills and forests. The State of of Ohio is a humid continental climate. It is typically hot and humid during the summer months in Ohio. Winters range from cool to cold, and rain is moderate year-round. Severe weather is not uncommon. There are so many different factors to weigh up, when making the important decision of choosing a gradute school at which to study. It is important to do research when deciding on a graduate school.
