To go out of your comfort zone is not an easy task.
Everyone wants to live in comfort. To eat what they’ve been eating, live in the place they’ve been living for a long time, go out with people they know best and do the things they’ve been keeping doing. People will feel comfortable while everything is done in the same way and under control.

However, when you’re comfortable, you’re not challenging the world around you or even engaging with it, and more likely simply blending in.

A slight level of discomfort can create a completely different mindset. Put some new ideas into your life, you can be more inquisitive. And your role shifts from passive observer to active participant.

Any of us will feel uncomfortable while we add something new to our life. We will more easily to feel the emotion of stressful, uncertain, and lost, but excitement at the same time.

You can ask yourself that whether you want your life goes in the same way forever (actually it is not easy to keep your life), or do you want to make your life a little different and change your future?

To break a routine of your life can change your way of living.

Making a routine of your life can make the life comfortable and mindless, and in most time it is a good thing. You can put yourself more engaging with the world around you. You don’t have to change anything huge. This slight change in your routine can be enough to re-engage the brain, and snap your brain back into focus. For example, to try a new route to work, to put off your morning task and do something you think can relax yourself.

Notice how these slight changes do to your life, and how they make you feel more alert and present. You will be more willing to do it.

Follow your dream and try to accomplish it.

Everyone has their own dreams to pursue the dreams, but each also has some little daydreams that we like to think about. Set up some time for them. Don’t wait for the “perfect time.” There’s no better time to confront your fear and accomplish something you’ve always dreamed of. Though it may be scary at first, but it won’t last long. You will get used to it in a short time.

Choose the right things over easy things.
It is more likely to choose the easy things than right things. But you can usually benefit from things that you should do but don’t want to. Choose the right things to do will never regret you. Grab your workout gear and head over to the gym. Agree to go to that upcoming networking event. Pick up the phone and call your mother for goodness sake! This is the kind of discomfort that indicates progress. Remember that the “right” thing to do isn’t always the “easy” thing.

To go out of your comfort zone is not an easy task. But comfortable situations don’t inspire growth; they encourage complacency. Add something new and adventures into your life, notice how this can change your life, and rediscover how good discomfort can feel.
