Some of my happiest recollections of childhood are of spending the Christmas break at my grannies making wonderful gingerbread manikins and Christmas cards to be sent to all and sundry as a token of how I’d grown. Nothing builds a memory faster as a fun activity done together while the snow piles up outside.
