As we know today's world is competitive world and we have got competition in each and every field. Everyone wants to be on top in his field but for this we have to work hard. We have got competition in study also. Every student tries his best for maximum score or to be on top. But this is not very easy. They have to work hard to achieve this. All the students try their best for high score in practical subjects because in theoretical subjects we can't that get that much score. Mathematics is a practical and wide subject. It is not very easy to get high score in this subject. For this we have to work very hard and we need proper guidelines. For proper guideline we have to join any institute or coaching but this is not possible for everyone because these days the fees of institution is becoming very high. But now no need to worry about this because we have got a lot of free online math tutors which provides us 24 hours guidelines to solve mathematics problems.

Today we are going to discuss about Graphing Calculator and Linear Equation. To solve Linear Equation problems, we have got Equation Solvers on internet. Before going in depth we should have some basic knowledge about both Linear Equations and Graphing Calculator.

First we will discuss about Graphing Calculator. A Graphing Calculator basically refers to a device which is able to solve simultaneous equations, can perform other numerous tasks with variables and capable for plotting of graphs.

Now we will have some knowledge about Linear Equation. A Linear Equation is an algebraic equation in which each term can be a single variable and constant or the product of a constant. It can also have multiple variables.

Let’s take an example of Linear Equation and will see how the Equation Solver helps us to solve the equation.

4x + b = 10

2x + b = 8

To solve this equation, we use the method of addition and subtraction of equations. In this method we try to eliminate the variable either by addition or subtraction. In the above example we, subtract both the equations. On doing so we get,

(4x- 2x) + (b - b) = (10 - 8),

2x = 2,

x = 2/2,

x = 1

Now we are having x value using this we can calculate the value of b by simply putting value of x in any of the two equations.

2*1 + b = 8

b = 8 – 2

b = 6

If you want to cross check the answer then you can do it by putting values in second equation.
