Friends , today we are going to talk about Linear equations in mathematics that what is Linear equations are all about and how to solve them in an appropriate way? We all know that as we move further in our higher studies, math becomes a necessary subject to be studied and its problems gets complex too. So online math tutors are available for solving your problem also enhance your mathematics skills and save time too. Online math tutors explain user's problem in a brief manner with all the possible ways to solve that problem. Some of online tutoring use live tutors and various exercise sheets with live video conference video facility.

Now we are going to discuss linear equations., A Linear equation is an algebraic equation in which each term is either a constant or a variable with product of constant.

Let us take an example ..

9x + 3 = 21

in it 'x' is a variable with integer coefficient. In linear equation every variable is replaced by an integer value so let's explore that value in the above example.. as follows..

first shift '3' to R. H. S. of equation and subtract it because of sign change..

9x = 21-3

9x = 18

now move '9' into denominator of R. H. S.

x= 18/9

x=2

That's how we get the integer value which replaces the variable in any linear equation.

General form of linear equation is

y= mx + c

Here 'y' and 'x' are variables, Every Linear equation represents a linear shape in 2D plane, like this one forming a straight line in which 'm' is a constant representing slope of the line and another constant 'b' refers to the point at which line crosses the 'y' axis.

The 2D linear equation can be written in several forms , by elementary algebra laws, as general forms , standard form, slope Intercept form , point slope form , two point form, parametric form and polar form. All of these forms are also known as equations of straight line but each have different situations like intersection with axis, slope angle , and parallel with axis etc.

Linear equation is a part of Algebraic expressions. It includes variables and constants in the equation but both L. H. S. and R. H. S. parts should be equal. Every algebraic equation can be converted into its equivalent one in which coefficient are integers .

There is one more part of pure applied mathematics known as Differential Equation . Differential equation is a equation of unknown function and various variables and its solution fractions into its related derivatives . Differential equation also consists of two types , Linear and non Linear .

A Linear Differential Equations function and its derivatives should consist all the variables of degree one otherwise differential equation will be of non- Linear form.
