These social situations may be so frightening that you get anxious just thinking about them or go to great lengths to avoid them.

The people that suffer from this condition will avoid situations that they perceive will make them uncomfortable. They may call in sick to work, skip school, avoid family reunions just to avoid the intense anxiety.

There are several forms of treatment available, from medication for social phobias, to lifestyle changes or therapy for this . Each person is different and the root cause of their anxiety can be different as well. Medication works very well for some people, whereas simple lifestyle changes or some therapy from a professional can make all the difference.
