No Ordinary Family, on Watch from January 11, follows the Powell family, a seemingly ordinary clan, who find they have super-powers after crash landing in the Amazon basin. Picking up the ‘ordinary hero’ baton from hit show Heroes, this is definitely one to watch in 2011.

After two hugely successful seasons of graphic vampiric schlock, True Blood returns for a third outing. This time, a pack of werewolves add to the blood n guts fest. Showing on FX from January.

Coming, Mad Dogs is the new black comedy-thriller with a stellar cast. Old school pals John Simm, Philip Glenister, Max Beesley and Marc Warren venture to Majorca for a reunion with Ben Chaplin. Of course, things do not go according to plan, as you’ll find out if you stay tuned to Sky 1.

Also coming to Sky TV is the much-anticipated remake of… Hawaii Five-0! Not many can have expected a new slew of cop escapades with Scott and Danno, back on our screens for the first time since 1980. And of course, there’s that theme tune…
